about Monochrome
At Monochrome, we focus exclusively on white wines. Our goal is to stand against the “white wines are simple” mindset, and champion the fact that there is nothing simple about crafting (or enjoying) complex and compelling white wines. For our fruit, we look along the entire Central California Coast, matching vineyards to the grape varieties we use, and then follow a “wall of sound” winemaking approach to create wines that have more layers, depth and complexity than we could achieve with simpler techniques. 2016 is our first vintage.
